Rick Owens a few years before he was tapped to helm
Revillon and his eponymous ship really took off for
Paper Magazine. He and his wife,
Michelle Lamy, were gracious and lovely and answered way too many questions from a young reporter (me) who had barely earned any stripes. If I remember correctly, we had the interview at Lamy's L.A. restaurant at the time,
Les Deux Cafés, and she brought out a delicious plate of antipasto and white wine. Those were days!
